Function Overview
The Logistics Engineer plays a central role in analyzing, designing, and improving logistics processes within Logent’s Belgian operations. The position ensures optimal efficiency, cost control, and alignment with customer and internal performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform detailed process analyses and develop data-driven improvement proposals.

- Design warehouse layouts, storage systems, and internal material flows.

- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency and cost optimization.

- Support operational teams during process implementation and standardization.

- Conduct time studies, capacity analyses, and KPI reporting.

- Contribute to the setup of new projects and customer implementations.

- Maintain up-to-date process documentation and engineering standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics or process engineering.

- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power BI); experience with WMS/ERP systems preferred.

- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Fluent in Dutch and English.
